The Journey in woodcarvings business began in 15th July 1995 as an Assistant in  WILD GOOSE CARVINGS, Cornwall, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM

Sarfaraz Hasan , nicknamed as "Saf"

{B.Sc.(Bio.), M.Sc.(Zoology), Ph.D.(Ornithology), CAA(Accounts), CCEM(Exports), PGDCM(Computers), DNH(Naturopathy)} 

Saf, the owner of Asia Carvings, worked for British wood carvings import company Wild Goose Carvings, England for 22 years as Quality Control Manager and got all his training in a British quality conscious environment. After resigning from the UK company, he along with the childhood friend Mr. Marghoob Alam and some master carvers of the woodcarving city on India, established a high quality, professionally managed workshop for the production of woodcarvings decorative furniture components in centuries old traditional handmade HAND CARVED ways. 

We hired the best Master Carvers of the city and produced high quality wood carvings which achieved worldwide popularity and so the company expanded its staff from three individuals to three dozen workers. The company made unbelievable progress in just a couple of years from its beginning.

We are proud to produce all woodcarvings with our hands with minimal use of machines only at initial stages of wood cuttings. We are also proud that our sale of woodcarvings is 100% for export to the whole world.

The vast range of our expertise productions includes Architectural Wood Appliques, Corbels, Brackets, Capitals, Pilasters, Door Panels, Rosettes, Keystones, Swags of Fruits and Flowers, Centre Scrolls, Corner Pairs, Millworks, Mouldings, Onlays, Column Capitals, Bar Pillars, Stair Rails, Fireplace Mantels, Fire Surrounds, Ceiling Medallions, Finials, Legs, Header & Footer Appliqués and Decorative Antique Royal Wood Clocks, Hand-carved Architectural Mouldings and other Furniture Components. 

We are proud that we are restoring centuries old traditions of decorating homes and furniture by using hand carved wood ornaments which were originally used to decorate only royal palaces and religious buildings such as Churches, Forts and Historical Monuments.
